By order dated 22.12.2025, notice was issued in the stay application [CRL.M.A. 38212/2025], subject to certain conditions. The order was carried to the Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition (Crl.) No. 1239/2026 [Nagender Kumar v. State NCT of Delhi and Anr.]. The Special Leave Petition was disposed of by order dated 13.02.2026, with the following observations:

"4. The Trial Court has already granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, subject to deposit of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakh only) which we do not approve.

5. When the matter was carried to the High Court, the High Court reduced it to Rs.10,00,000/. (Rupees Ten Lakh only). Even this approach of the High Court, is not approved by us, more particularly, when there is a direct Judgment of this Court referred to above.

6. In such circumstances, we affirm the original order passed by the Trial Court, releasing the petitioner on bail without any condition of deposit of a particular amount.
