1. Pursuant to the order passed by us on 11th April 2018, Ms. Ronaq has appeared in the Court. We have first met with her separately in the chamber. She conveyed to us that although she did sign on certain papers produced by the Petitioner, she was not aware of their true purport . She was categorical that she does not wish to live with him and wishes to continue living with the parents.

2. We then called the Petitioner to the chamber and in his presence, Ms. Ronaq reiterated what she had stated before us earlier. W.P.(C) 1056/2018

3. In that view of the matter, no further directions are called for. The Court is satisfied that Ms. Ronaq is not being illegally detained by anyone. She is 25 years old and as an adult, her wish to reside where she wants should be final.

4. It will be open to the Petitioner to seek other appropriate remedies as available to him in accordance with law.

5. The petition is dismissed.
