The petitioner, vide the present petition seeks directions from this Court to direct learned Principal Judge, Family Court-2, South District, Saket Courts, Delhi, to expeditiously decide the application under Section 12 read with Section 25 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, pending in G.P. No.36/2025 entitled 'Ms. Tripti Chauhan Vs. Ratan Bhushan Singh Negi', within a time bound manner, preferably within two weeks. 2.
It is the own case of the petitioner that she has filed the said G.P. No.36/2025 against the respondent before the learned Family Court on 04.07.2025 and though it was listed on 05.07.2025, when the respondent had filed an application qua maintainability. Further, though the orders of the learned Family Court have not been filed and the exact status of the proceedings therein cannot be ascertained, however, learned counsel for the petitioner himself submits that the pleadings are yet to be completed The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. therein and only three hearing have taken place since then till today. 3.
Though this Court is well aware that the disputes inter se the parties herein and the proceedings thereto are arising out of a matrimonial discord and since a minor child is involved, however, considering the learned Family Court is the master of his own roaster, and since the date of filing of G.P. No.36/2025 is few months back only, as also taking into consideration the overall circumstances involved, this Court finds no reason for allowing the present petition.

As such, the present petition, alongwith the pending applications, is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner for approaching the learned Family Court with appropriate application(s) for seeking appropriate remedy in accordance with law. At the same time, the learned Family Court is also requested to make an endeavour for disposing of G.P. No.36/2025 as expeditiously as possible, albeit, taking into account all the aforesaid, as also other, relevant factors into consideration.
