Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as 'B.N.S.S.'), has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, for grant of Bail in FIR No. 237/2024 under Section 420/403/406/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Crime Branch.

On advance Notice, learned APP for the State has appeared and seeks time to file a Status Report.

Learned APP for the State, submits that the Charge-Sheet has already been filed before the learned Trial Court. The grounds on which, quashing is sought, are essentially on merits.
