The present petition has been filed by a senior citizen assailing an interim order dated 10.09.2025, passed by the Divisional Commissioner (respondent no.3). It is pointed out that the petitioner is in occupation of the property no.144, Gali no.2, Manglapuri, Phase-1, Palam Village, New Delhi. 4.

The petitioner has filed an Eviction Petition under Rule 22(3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules, 2017. property. It is pointed out that the said order was executed on 07.06.2025 when the SDM and the police officials removed respondent nos.6 and 7 and restored possession of the petitioner.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that by virtue of the interim order dated 10.09.2025, the respondent nos.6 and 7 have re-entered the property on 28.11.2025.

Considering that the appellate proceedings are pending before the Divisional Commissioner, the petition is disposed of with a request to the Divisional Commissioner to bestow urgent consideration in the appeal and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of eight weeks from today.

These directions are being issued in view of the peculiar difficulties stated to be faced by the petitioner / senior citizen inter-alia on account of the alleged assault by the respondent nos.6 and 7. 8.

Let hearings be scheduled by the Divisional Commissioner accordingly so that the appeal can be disposed of within the aforesaid time frame. Pending disposal of the appeal, the respondent nos.6 and 7 are restrained from causing any disturbance to the petitioner or subjecting the petitioner to any form of assault, verbal or physical. 9.
