CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE REKHA PALLI

O R D E R

% 20.04.2018 The present contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of order dated 20.03.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.(C)No.2619/2018, whereby Notre Dame School, Kair was, by way of an interim measure, directed to charge only 6% enhancement in the fees from the students for the academic year 2017-2018. The school was further directed to declare the results of all the students who paid the said increased fees and also allow them to attend classes in the next session. While issuing notice, this Court had noted the plea of learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent-school had not implemented the directions given by this Court and had not declared the results of the students despite their having paid the requisite fees.

Today, Mr.Romy Chacko, Advocate enters appearance on

behalf of the respondents and submits that the school has declared the results of each and every student who has paid the enhanced fees at the rate of 6% per annum for the academic year 2017-2018. He further submits that all such students are being permitted to attend classes and no harrasment of any kind is being met out to any of the student. He assures the Court that every student, who pays the requisite fees as per the interim directions of this Court, will be allowed to attend the school.

In view of the statement given by the respondent, the petition is disposed of as infructuous.
