% 02.08.2018 After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would like to withdraw the petition. However, he submits that the petitioner is behind bars since 16.10.2016 and only 13 witnesses out of 23 have been examined so far. The case will take quite some time. Therefore, he requests that the trial may be expedited.

The learned counsel for the State submits that every endeavour will be made to have the same completed preferably within a year from today. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
