% 09.04.2018 By this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No. 104/2018 under Sections 279/338 IPC registered at police station Jamia Nagar.

Respondent no.2 is minor and is being represented by his father Mehboob.

Respondent no.3 Pankaj Kapoor, owner of the vehicle is also present in Court and it is submitted that he has not sustained any injury. Petitioner has paid `10,000/- to respondent no.2 in the Court today in terms of Memorandum of Understanding dated 5th April, 2018, copy whereof is on record.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR, which is at investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J
