Cont. Cas. (C) 276/2018 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, alleging non compliance of the order dated July 11, 2016, whereby this court had directed the respondents to pay the salary with the following directions: "4.
Resultantly, the present writ petitions are disposed of with the following directions:-
(i) The Corporations shall pay the monthly salary of the Safai Karamcharis under their control on or before 10th of every month w.e.f. August, 2016.
(ii) The Corporations will submit the compliance report before this Court on the 11th of each month. In case, the 11th day of the month happens to be a holiday, then the compliance report will be furnished on the 12th day of the month.
(iii) The failure to comply with the above said directions shall entail initiation of contempt proceedings".
Mr. Sukhija, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he wishes to withdraw the contempt petition and shall approach the Division Bench by way of an application in the pending writ petition(s) as according to him, directions have been given by the Division Bench for payment of salary to the Safai Karamcharis in the Municipal Corporation.
