O R D E R

% 02.05.2016 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC) seeks quashing of FIR No.127/14 under Sec. 307/406/498A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Lahori Gate. The subject FIR was registered as a consequence of marital discord arising out of differences between the respondent no.2-Ms. Minakshi Yadav and her husband Mr. Navin Yadav, petitioner no.1 herein.

Ms. Minakshi Yadav who is present in the court today along with her minor daughter Shanaya who is about 11⁄2 years old, states that subsequent upon the registration of the subject FIR, she has reconciled with her husband-Mr. Navin Yadav, and they both are living together happily at her matrimonial home for the past one year.

In view of the foregoing, the subject FIR represents the only impediment to rapprochement between the parties to the union. Resultantly, the same is quashed qua the petitioner, subject to Mr. Navin Yadav depositing a sum of Rs. 1 lac in the form of a fixed deposit receipt (FDR) to enure to the benefit of his daughter Shanaya, within a period of four weeks from today. A copy of the said FDR be furnished to the IO of the subject FIR.
