By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is seeking parole for a period of six weeks for specialized medical treatment of kidney transplant. 2.

Detailed status report has been filed which is to the following effect:- "His X-Ray was also done at LNJP Hospital on 12.12.2015. Patient was again reviewed with X-Ray in LNJP Hospital Ortho Department on 31.12.2015. Patient was given symptomatic treatment. Patient was reviewed on 22.02.2016 at LNJP Hospital. The treating Doctor gave opinion that in view of active Rheumatic Arthritis (CRP-Positive, RF-Positive) and CKD, joint replacement carries a high risk. Patient was given symptomatic treatment.

Presently patient is under regular follow-up and treatment from AIIMS Hospital Nephrology department, Endocrine Department, Orthopedic department.

Patient was sent to Endocrine department, AIIMS Hospital on 29.03.2016 with Special Blood Investigation (HbA1c-6.3, Normal range 4.8-6.0). Patient was seen by W.P.(CRL) 995/2016

endocrine Specialists and was advised no change in the treatment and to get reviewed after six months with blood investigations (Copy attached).

Patient was also reviewed in Orthopedic department, AIIMS on 31.03.2016 and was advised conservative treatment with Tablet Paracetamol to relieve from Pain and Tablet Antacid. Patient was also advised for X-Ray Bilateral Knee and Rheumatology Opinion (Copy attached).

Early date for USG is taken from AIIMS Hospital and patient is planned for the same on 13.05.2016. Patient is also planned for Nephrology opinion, appointment date taken from AIIMS hospital dated 13.04.2016."

Looking into the facts and circumstances of the case and medical condition of the petitioner, which fact has been duly verified by the State, the prayer for grant of parole is allowed to the extent that the Petitioner is granted parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent and subject to the condition that he shall furnish to the Jail Superintendent the address of the place where he would reside in Delhi during the period of parole as well as the contact numbers.

It is, however, made clear that on expiry of the parole period, the Petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent, who shall submit the surrender report to this Court. 5.

Writ Petition stands allowed in the above terms. 6.

The Petitioner be informed through the Jail Superintendent about the order passed.
