The limited grievance as canvassed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the hearing of the appeal filed by the petitioner under Section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, against the order dated 13.10.2025 passed by the Ld. Additional District Magistrate (East) bearing no. F.No.466/Tribunal/East/2025/2238-42, be preponed.

It is informed by the respondent no.1 that the hearing in the appeal filed by the petitioner is now scheduled on 19.03.2026. 3.

Let an endeavour be made by the Maintenance Tribunal to expedite the hearing to the extent possible.

The present petition stands disposed of in the above terms. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
