This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "a) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing Respondent No. 1/Delhi Development Authority to trace and produce the records pertaining to the Conveyance Deed dated 09.04.2001 executed in respect of Flat No. 10-C, MIG Flats, Gulabi Bagh, New Delhi 110007, and to take all consequential steps for updating the status of the said property in favour of the Petitioners; b) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing Respondent No. 2/Government of NCT of Delhi through the Office of Sub-Registrar (and any other concerned Respondent, if impleaded), to trace the registration particulars and supply to the W.P.(C) 19328/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Petitioners a certified copy of the aforesaid' Conveyance Deed, and/or reexecute/issue a duplicate Conveyance Deed to enable the Petitioners to exercise their lawful rights of ownership."

Counsels, as above, accept notice on behalf of the respective Respondents.

By this writ petition, Petitioner seeks records pertaining to Conveyance Deed dated 09.04.2009 in respect of flat No. 10-C, MIG Flats, Gulabi Bagh, New Delhi with a further direction to DDA to update the status of the property.

Learned counsel for DDA submits that efforts are being made to trace the records.

Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing DDA to trace out the records of flat in question. This exercise will be conducted and concluded within four weeks from today. If the records are found, the same shall be given to the Petitioner and consequently, the status will be updated in the DDA records. If for any reason, the records cannot be found, steps will be taken to reconstruct the file and in case any assistance is required from the Petitioner in this regard, communication will be sent to him. Petitioner will be kept informed of the steps being taken by DDA. In case of any surviving or further grievance, it will be open to the Petitioner to revive this writ petition.
