The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no.1/MCD, to take action against the ongoing illegal and unauthorized construction, being carried out by the respondent no.3, in the property bearing No. WZ, H-28, Gali No. 9, New Mahavir Nagar, New Delhi.

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD, wherein it is stated that after following due process of law, a demolition W.P.(C) 19337/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. order was passed on 22nd December, 2025, in respect of unauthorised construction carried out in the subject property. 3.
Ms. Mehrunisa Jaitley, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD submits that against the said demolition order, an appeal has been filed by the private respondent before the Appellate Tribunal, MCD, in which interim protection has been granted in their favour by order dated 19th February, 2026.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to take appropriate action based on the outcome of the said appeal.
