Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 5.
All the petitioners and respondent no. 2 (appeared through video conferencing) are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, Police Station Prashant Vihar, Delhi.

Brief facts of the case are that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are resident of U.S.A. and had come to India for immersing the ashes of their late mother, Smt. Jaswinder Kaur, in the River Ganges. It is stated that a property dispute in respect of property bearing No. B-260, Prashant Vihar, Delhi, is already pending between the parties. Owing to the said dispute, the relations between the petitioners and Respondent No. 2 are not good. That on 28.05.2025, a verbal altercation took place between the petitioners and respondent No. 2 and other family members. At that time, the parents of petitioner no. 2 were also present, and certain objectionable remarks were allegedly made. The verbal altercation escalated, whereupon PCR was called at the spot. On the complaint of respondent no. 2, the present FIR was registered against the petitioners.
It is stated that a cross FIR bearing No. 350/2025 was also registered by the petitioners against respondent no.2. With intervention of the family members and friends, the parties have now amicably settled their disputes vide Settlement-cum-Compromise Agreement dated 30.05.2025.

On a query made by this Court, respondent no. 2 who has been identified by the IO, has categorically stated that she has entered into compromise out of her own free will and without any pressure, coercion or The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
threat. Therefore, she has no objection, if the present FIR is quashed. 8.
In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 9.
Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 353/2025, registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 74/75/76/115(2)/3(5)/351(2)/79 of BNS and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

In view of above, the present petition, alongwith pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
