This is a petition for issuing directions to respondent to consider and decide the petitioner's parole application dated 30.08.2025. 2.

Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the criminal appeal no. 03/2023 filed by the petitioner against the judgment of conviction and order on sentence dated 26.05.2022 and 27.09.2022 was dismissed by this Court vide judgment dated 19.08.2025.

The Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner intends to file SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and on account of such reason filed an application before the prison authority for grant of parole on 30.08.2025 but the said application has not been decided till date. 4.

The Ld. ASC who appears for the State submits that as per his instructions no such application for the grant of parole has been received by the competent authority and once such application is received the same will be decided within a period of three weeks.

Petition is disposed of with direction that the present petition be treated as representation by the competent authority and decision on such representation be taken within three weeks.

Copy of petition along with copy of this order be sent to the Superintendent Jail for information and compliance.
