% 11.04.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that his father has been passed away.

On a notice being issued, a status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report it has been verified that the father of the petitioner, namely, Daya Chand passed away on 6th April, 2018 and that the family of the petitioner is residing at E-2/17 Shastri Nagar, Delhi. As per the nominal roll the petitioner was granted three furloughs in the year 2017 and from 28th December, 2017 till 7th March, 2018 he was on parole continuously for the treatment of his father. Considering the verification done this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner for a period of two weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction W.P.(CRL) 1022/2018

of Superintendent, Tihar Jail.

Petition is disposed of.
