The present petition under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by this Court vide Order dated 17.01.2022. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is being extended from time to time and last such extension was granted by this Court vide Order dated 30.05.2025 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 451/2025 by which this Court had extended the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.12.2025. filed for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.
It is stated that the award has been reserved and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal be extended to enable the Arbitrator to pronounce the award.

In view of the facts of the present case, this Court is inclined to mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 30.04.2026, so that the award can be pronounced.

The petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
