This petition seeking inter-district transfer of SC No. 1194/2016 titled State v. Romesh Sharma, arising out of FIR No. 849/1998 registered at P.S. Hauz Khas, has been instituted pursuant to the order dated 16th December, 2025 passed by the Registrar General of this Court. The said order was passed in view of the request made by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi, based on the observations of Ms. Shivani Chauhan, ASJ (FTC)-01, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi, that the case pertains to P.S. Hauz Khas, which falls within the territorial jurisdiction of South District, and therefore requires transfer to the South District.

Parties are directed to appear before the Transferee Court on 20th January, 2026.
