Through the present writ petition, the Petitioners assail correctness of the order dated 17.04.2025, passed by the learned Central Administrative Tribunal ('CAT') in O.A. No.2075/2022. The learned CAT has proceeded to quash the suspension order of the Respondent on the ground that he was never issued any Charge Memo for a period of more than four years till the impugned order was passed.

The Respondent has already retired from service on 31.01.2021. The suspension order was issued only three days before the Respondent was to demit office on attaining the age of superannuation.

Even till today, the Department has not issued any Charge Memo to the Respondent.
