The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, assailing the final order dated 6th June, 2025 passed by the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (hereinafter, 'CESTAT') in Customs Appeal No. 50781 of 2021 titled 'Mr. Kailash Chander Varshney vs. Additional Commissioner, Customs(Preventive)' by which the seizure of gold weighing 2946.8 grams has been upheld by CESTAT.

Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner wishes to amend the present writ petition and prays that the same may be treated as a customs appeal. 4.
