By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for a period of eight weeks. 2.

The competent authority is directed to decide the application for the petitioner herein for grant of parole, within a period of three weeks from date under intimation to the petitioner herein. 4.
