(ORAL) 1.

Petitioner upon re-employment has been paid emoluments as indicated in respondent's Communication of 19th December, 2016 (Annexure P-8). Vide Representation of 16th January, 2017 (Annexure P9), petitioner had sought emoluments equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension in terms of respondent's Office Order of 3rd/4th August, 2016 (Annexure P-6). Learned counsel for petitioner submits that despite reminder sent in October, 2017, there is no response to petitioner's Representation (Annexure P-9).

Despite service of advance notice, none appears on behalf of respondent.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with permission to petitioner to make a fresh W.P.(C) 4980/2018

concise Representation [as the Representation (Annexure P-9) is cryptic] to respondent within two weeks from today. Upon receipt of such a Representation, respondent shall pass a speaking order thereon, within a period of eight weeks and convey its fate to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedies as available in law, if need be.

Respondent be apprised of this order forthwith, to ensure its compliance.
