1. The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to decide its pending application dated 12.09.2019 seeking affiliation for 4 units each in the Electrician Trade and Fitter Trade for the academic session 2025-26.

2. Issue notice. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 accepts notice. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the respondent No. 2 is a proforma party.

3. Though learned counsel for the respondent No.1 pray for time to file counter affidavits, in my view, in the light of the limited relief being sought by the petitioner and the admitted position that the respondents are bound to process every application received by them, no counter The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 4. In the light of the admitted position that the petitioners' application preferred more than 6 years ago remains undecided till date, the writ petition deserves to be allowed by directing the respondents to expeditiously process the petitioners' application as per the laid down procedure and preferably within a period of 16 weeks from today.

5. In case, any further information or documents are required from the petitioners, the same will be communicated to the petitioners, who will then forthwith furnish the necessary information/documents. Needless to state this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' claim and in case the petitioners are aggrieved by any orders passed by the respondents, it will be open for them to seek legal recourse, as permissible in law.

6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
