Applicant, a Kenyan National, seeks regular bail in File No. VIII(AP)(10)P&I/4217-B/Arrival/2023 registered at PS IGI Airport, New Delhi under Section 8/21/23 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

The applicant was found in possession of commercial quantity of Cocaine Hydrochloride, which she had brought by concealing the same in two whiskey bottles.

The commercial quantity begins from 100 gms whereas the recovery is of more than 3.46 kg including the weight of glass bottles. 4.

During course of arguments, it was apprised that out of 16 witnesses, prosecution has already examined 10 witnesses, including all the recovery witnesses and two witnesses have already been dropped. 5.

Since the trial is, virtually, at its fag end, it will not be appropriate for this Court to consider the submissions made in the present bail application which can, even otherwise, always be appreciated by the learned Trial Court at appropriate stage.

The application is, accordingly, disposed of with the request to learned Trial Court to make earnest effort to dispose of the abovesaid case within a period of six months from today.

In case for any reason whatsoever, the learned Trial Court is unable to dispose of the abovesaid case in the abovesaid time frame, the applicant would be at liberty to apply for bail by filing an application directly before this Court.

Application stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 9.

All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved. 10.
