O R D E R

% 13.09.2018 During the course of hearing, the settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2. Petitioner has offered to pay respondent no.2 an amount of `3.5 lakhs towards the cheque amount. Respondent No.2 has accepted the said offer. Respondent No.2 says that he has no objection in case offence under Section 138 N.I. Act is permitted to be compounded.

In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the Registry is directed to release the amount lying deposited in this court to respondent no.2 forthwith together with interest accrued therein, if any. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

The petitioner is acquitted from this case.
