This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator by a further period of 3 months for making and publishing the final Award.

Mr. Khare, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the claims and counter-claims were very voluminous and the Award has been reserved, hence, the application for extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Anil Kumar learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown. 6.
