The present petition under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by this Court vide Order dated 12.02.2021 in ARB.P.617/2020. 3.

The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has been extended from time to time and last of such extension was granted by this Court vide Order dated 28.01.2025 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 83/2025 by which this Court had extended the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.12.2025. 4.

the present petition has been filed for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

It is stated that the witnesses of the Respondent are being examined before the learned Arbitral Tribunal, and therefore, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal be extended.

In view of the facts outlined above, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.10.2026, so that the award can be pronounced.

The petition is disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
