CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 24.10.2017 Respondent No.2, Ms.Tarannum, is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Narender Singh of Police Station Mangol Puri. She states that she has settled the matter with petitioner No.1 and is living in the matrimonial home for the last 11 months. She says that she has no objection in case FIR No.1900/2015 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC PS Mangol Puri is quashed. Petitioner Nos.2 to 5 are relatives of petitioner No.1. Keeping in view the fact that the husband and wife have started living together after resolving their disputes, in my view, no fruitful purpose would
be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.
1900/2015 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC PS Mangol Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petitioner is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
