By filing the present writ petition from Jail, the petitioner is seeking parole for a period of two months on the ground of arranging finance for the treatment and care of his old age ailing mother and also for reconnecting social ties with the family & society.

Notice. Ms.Sumi Anand, Advocate appearing on behalf of Mr.Avininder Singh, A.S.C. for the State accepts notice of this writ petition. 3.

Nominal roll of the petitioner has also been placed on record as per which the Petitioner has availed two weeks furlough w.e.f. 11.02.2016 to 26.02.2016.

As per Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, a minimum period of six months ought to have elapsed from the date of termination of the previous parole/furlough.

In the given facts and circumstances, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on parole is hereby rejected.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.

7.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
