It is pointed out by the respondent who appears in person and by learned counsel for the petitioner that they have amicably resolved and settled their all disputes and the petitioner has agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.8,50,000/- in full and final settlement of his all claims. A copy of settlement deed dated 28.05.2016 is placed on record alongwith the application.

This application is accompanied by affidavit of the workman/respondent and General Manager (HR) of the petitioner. Pursuant to the settlement, today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over cheque No.133297 drawn on Oriental Bank of Commerce, Tughlakabad Institutional Area, dated 22.05.2018 for Rs.8,50,000/- in favour of the respondent who has accepted the same.

CM APPL. 24377/2018 is allowed.

The petition is disposed of in view of the settlement dated 28.05.2018 and parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of the settlement.

The petitioner shall ensure that the said cheque is honoured on its presentation.
