Learned counsel for the appellant/Insurance Company submits that he has the instructions to withdraw the present appeal. 8.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the appellant/Insurance Company, the present application is allowed and appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.

Before parting with this appeal, it may be observed that the operation of the impugned judgment-cum-award dated 20.01.2018 had been stayed by this Court vide order dated 16.04.2018, subject to the appellant/Insurance Company depositing 50% of the amount of compensation with interest with the learned Tribunal within 30 days The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. thereafter. The said amount has also been ordered to be released to the respective claimants as per the directions in the impugned judgment-cum-award.

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that he would be depositing the balance amount of compensation with up to date interest with the learned Tribunal within 30 days from today. Upon such deposit, the balance amount of compensation with interest shall be released to the claimants in terms of the directions passed by the learned Tribunal. The amount of statutory appeal be released back to the appellant/Insurance Company as per the prescribed norms. 5.

Date fixed earlier i.e. 29.02.2024 before the Joint Registrar shall stand cancelled.
