This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 12 weeks for making and publishing the final Award.

Mr. Pathak, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

In the view of the above, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 12 weeks from 31.12.2025. 7.
