This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator by a further period of 6 months for making and publishing the final Award.

Mr. Suri, the learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the final arguments are going on and hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Kumar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

In the view of the above, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 6 months from today. 7.

The period from 23.11.2025 till today stands regularised. 8.
