The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no.1/ Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), to take action against the unauthorized construction, being carried out by respondents no.7 to 9, in the property bearing Plot No. 99, Sector D, Plot-V, Bhagvati Vihar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059 (hereinafter 'subject property'). 2.

Status report has been filed on behalf of respondent no.1/ MCD, wherein it is stated as under:

(i) The subject property was inspected on 1st December, 2025, wherein it was noticed that unauthorized construction has been W.P.(C) 19597/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. carried out without any prior sanction plan.

(ii) A show cause notice was issued by the respondent no.1/ MCD on 1st December, 2025.

(iii) A work stop notice dated 2nd December, 2025 was issued to the respondent no.5/ SHO, P.S. Bindapur.

(iv) Pursuant thereto, a demolition order had been passed on 19th December, 2025.

(v) Sealing proceedings have also been initiated by the respondent no.1/ MCD by issuing a show cause notice dated 8th December, 2025.

Status report has also been filed on behalf of respondent no. 3/ DJB. 3.1.

Copy of the same has been handed over in Court today and the same is permitted to be taken on record.

Counsel for respondents no.7 to 9 submits that the petitioner does not live in the locality and hence, the present writ petition is not maintainable. 5.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Taking into account what is stated in the status report, the present writ petition stands disposed of while directing MCD to take action in terms of what is stated in the status report, in accordance with law. 7.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of private respondents no. 7 to 9 are kept open.
