The Petitioner is a life convict in FIR No. 248/2010, registered at P.S. Dhaula Kuan, under Sections 506/365/376(2)(g) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959. By way of the present petition, he seeks grant of parole for a period of sixty days. 2.

The Petitioner had submitted an application for parole to the Respondents, which remained undecided, thereby constraining him to approach this Court.

The State has now accepted the Petitioner's request and, vide order dated 22nd December, 2025, directed his release on parole. Copy of the said order has been supplied to counsel for the Petitioner.
