Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no. 2 Mr. Saurabh Sharma is present in Court and accepts notice. Respondent no. 2 has been identified by SI Vijay Singh of Police Station Prashant Vihar.

Respondent no. 2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Compromise Deed dated 21st March, 2018; therefore, FIR No.1265/2014 under Sections 356/379/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom

may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind settlement arrived at between the parties, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.1265/2014 under Sections 356/379/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
