% 28.03.2016 Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner limits the relief in the present petition to grant of protection to the petitioner, Kamla, who is an elderly widow aged 70 years.

Mr Lao, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Crl.) appearing on behalf of the official respondent on advance notice, on instructions from SI Balwan Singh, PS- Vasant Kunj (South), states that in view of the afore-stated circumstance the police shall afford adequate protection to the petitioner at the address furnished by her in the memo of parties to the present petition. The beat constable of the concerned area shall also be sensitized in this behalf. The telephone number of the SHO of the concerned police station as well as the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioner in order to enable the latter to contact the police in the event of any threat or apprehension. Directed accordingly.

With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of. Dasti.
