By way of this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with FIR 560/2023, dated 18.10.2023, lodged at Police Station Shalimar Bagh, under Sections 21/25/61 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Mr. Hitesh Vali, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, has handed up a status report in Court, which is taken on record. 3.

After some arguments, Mr. CS Rathor, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this application, however, he seeks expedition of the trial before the Trial Court. 4.

Having regard to the fact that the recording of evidence has not commenced, even though the petitioner has been in custody for a period of two and a half years, the Trial Court is requested to consider the BAIL APPLN. 5048/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. petitioner's request for expedition, in accordance with its Board and the age of matters pending before it. Mr. Vali assures the Court that the prosecution will also co-operate in this process. 5.

It is clarified that this Court has not made any observation on the merits of the case, and all rights and contentions of the parties in any future application are left open.
