% 25.05.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are neighbours.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of FIR no.

454/2015 under Sections 452/323/506/34 IPC at police station Timarpur on the complaint of respondent no. 2. With the interventions of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 have settled their disputes amicably, vide a Compromise Deed dated 12th March, 2018; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent nos. 2 to 5 are present in Court and

have been identified by SI Neeraj of police station Timarpur. Respondent nos. 2 to 5 admit having settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and they have no objection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 to 5 are also on record.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 454/2015 under Sections 452/323/506/34 IPC at police station Timarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
