% 17.05.2018 This petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making the Arbitral Award in the arbitration proceedings between the parties in relation to the Agreement relating to the "Regional Office building for Bureau of Indian Standard at Plot no.4-A, Sector 27-B, Chandigarh including Electrical Installation".
Notice of this petition was issued to the respondent on 04.05.2018. Further time to seek instruction was granted by the order dated 11.05.2018. Today again, learned counsel for the respondent prays for an adjournment. I see no ground for adjourning the matter any further. Having perused the contents of the petition, I extend the time for making the Arbitral Award by a further period of three months with effect from today.
The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to cost. Dasti.
