Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 5.

The petitioner and respondent no. 2 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned from Police Station Shastri Park Metro, Delhi. 6.

Brief facts of the case are that due to a misunderstanding between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, respondent no. 2 had filed a complaint against the petitioner, culminated into the present FIR under the relevant sections. After investigation, the chargesheet was filed before the concerned Court. It is stated that during pendency of the trial, the parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Settlement Deed dated 13.12.2025. 7.

On a query made by this Court, respondent no. 2, who has been identified by the IO, has categorically stated that she has entered into compromise out of her own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. Therefore, she has no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 8.

On instructions, the learned APP for the State submits that the complainant/respondent no. 2 is now married and does not want to pursue the present case.

In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 10.

Shastri Park Metro, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 323/341/354/354D of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to the petitioner depositing cost of Rs.10,000/- with the Delhi High Court Bar Association Advocates' Welfare Fund, within a period of seven days from date and the compliance report be filed with the Registrar General of this Court. 11.

In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of. 12.
