This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 4 months for making and publishing the final Award.

It is stated that the arguments have concluded and the Award is reserved for pronouncement.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Mr. Bughani, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the present petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for delay. In view of the aforesaid, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a further period 4 months from 09.01.2026 to conclude the arbitration proceedings.
