The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request. It is stated by the counsel that the arbitration proceedings are at the stage of pronouncement of the award. 3.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate is about to expire on 31st December, 2025.

Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended for a further period of two (2) months from today.
