Vide order dated 24.12.2025, respondents were directed to add a further declaration/undertaking/press release to allay the concerns of the petitioner, clarifying that the web series is not based on the real life story of the petitioner's deceased husband.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, contends that the petitioner‟s family has suffered substantial damages despite disclaimer. Apart from the aforesaid, the disclaimer was strictly as undertaken before this Court.

The aforesaid submissions are strongly opposed by learned counsel for respondent no.4.

Be that as it may, since the series in question has already been released and if the petitioner has suffered some damages, the appropriate remedy would be to institute a civil suit in accordance with law. 5.

Granting the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner, the instant petition along with the pending application stands disposed of. 6.
