The petition is for the following reliefs:
"(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the Respondents to forthwith complete the police verification and re-issue the passport of the Petitioner; (b) Declare the demand for an unspecified No Objection Certificate as arbitrary, illegal, and without authority of law; (c) Direct the Respondents not to insist upon any NOC in the absence of a specific judicial order restricting the Petitioner's travel or passport;" 2.
The petitioner will have to take permission from the concerned Court where the matter stands pending for adjudication. 3.
The application for re-issuance of passport earlier filed shall be treated to have been withdrawn. Let the petitioner to apply afresh after obtaining the permission from the concerned Court.
