The Petitioners filed an appeal before the learned Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Delhi ["DRAT"] in the year 2018. The application for deciding the quantum of pre-deposit has been pending for the last seven years. The Petitioners never took any steps for getting the matter listed all this while.

The Chairperson, DRAT, Delhi has demitted office and the Chairperson, DRAT, Calcutta has been given additional charge. 5.
The Petitioners/Appellants therein now seek an early hearing of the appeal before the learned DRAT, however, the appeal is already listed on 15.01.2026.

It is stated that an application seeking early hearing moved by the Petitioners before the learned DRAT has been dismissed. 7.
The Petitioners have waited for seven years to get the appeal listed, however, since the matter is already coming up for hearing on 15.01.2026, we find no ground to interfere at this stage. Accordingly, the present Petition stands dismissed.

The Chairperson, DRAT, is requested to take up the appeal, filed by the Petitioner's herein on 15.01.2026, the date already fixed. 9.
