The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, a senior citizen aged about 76 years being aggrieved by the delay in taking up the petitioner's eviction application filed under Rule 22(3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 for consideration.

It is submitted that great hardship is being caused to the petitioner as a result of the non-consideration of the aforesaid application by the concerned authority.

Considering the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3/ SDM, New Delhi Jamnagar House to bestow urgent consideration to the aforesaid application The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the petitioner and make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of three months from today.
