This is a writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "a) Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No. 2 Bank to accept Aadhar Card, PAN Card, ITR and the Bar Council of Delhi (BCD) Certificate as valid proof for KYC purposes & make the Petitioner's professional account fully operational;

b) Direct the Respondents not to insist on any additional or non-statutory documents for KYC of Advocates'

sole-proprietorship firms; . . ."

Mr. Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 states that the respondent No.2 bank is only seeking 2 additional documents in order to complete the requisite KYC of the petitioner, i.e. last 3 years' ITR as The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. well as 3 years' bank statement of the petitioner. 3.

Mr. Sharma, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, along with Mr. Goyal (petitioner-in-person) states that the same shall be provided to the respondent No. 2 bank at its office located at B-65, Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi on or before 30.05.2026. 4.

On submission of the said documents along with the updated Adhaar and PAN Card of the petitioner, the KYC of the petitioner shall stand completed.

In the meanwhile, no precipitative action shall be taken by the respondent No. 2 bank.

The petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms, along with the pending applications, if any.
