The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing Respondent No. 2 i.e., Indian Nursing Council to extend the last date for admissions to all Nursing Courses, including ANM, GNM and B.Sc.

(Nursing), for the Academic Year 2025-2026 up to 31.12.2025, and to permit the member institutions of the Petitioner Association to fill up vacant seats till the said extended cut-off date."

Mr. Sanchit Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the respondent No. 2/Indian Nursing Council has The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. issued a notification dated 24.12.2025, whereby the last date for admission has been extended till 31.12.2025.

To buttress his contention, he has handed over across the Bar the said notification, the same is taken on record. Para 3 of the notification reads thus:

"3.

In compliance with the aforesaid orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and to ensure uniformity in admissions, the Indian Nursing Counsel hereby extends the last date of admission for ANM, GNM, B.Sc.(N), PBBSc (N) and MSc (N) programs for the Academic Year 2025-26 till 31st December, 2025 for all institutions across the country." 4.

In view of the above, Mr. Sanchit Singh submits that nothing survives in the present petition.

The petition is, therefore, disposed of as satisfied. Consequently, the pending application also stands disposed of.
